Making gear for paddlers and water professionals since 1979, Palm’s founder Andy Knight has kept things simple – our mission, now as then, is to make better, safer equipment. Our UK home is in Somerset and we have a base in Asbach, Germany too, as well as our own manufacturing facilities in Hanoi, Vietnam. Palm Equipment supports water enthusiasts and professionals worldwide with gear that stands up to the demands of everyday recreation, rescue services and adventurers.
We go a step further with all our products, exceeding standards in strength, buoyancy and longevity. Palm were the first to have personal floatation products pass the ISO 12402-6 and -6 standard. You'll see many look alikes of our designs today, but we're still unmatched in quality and we continue to innovate. We partner with trusted component brands from YKK waterproof zips on our drysuits to Vibram soles on our water boots.
We are in the unique position of having our own factory in Vietnam (ISO 9001 certified) giving us close control of our manufacturing processes. With specialist garment machinery and testing equipment, we can be certain of the strength, durability and performance of our products. We also manufacture rotomoulded kayaks at our UK factory as well as the Rapid Blocs whitewater course obstacle system, found in swiftwater training facilities worldwide.
With our distribution centres in Clevedon, UK and Asbach, Germany we can fulfill you needs across Europe and internationally. We're committed to help service and maintain your equipment. Our customer service department can help with a range of factory repairs, from zip replacements to seam repair as well as water tank testing of suits and PFDs. We have a range of spare parts available to order for those products which are user serviceable.
